We’re all leaders in our lives. A leadership program is not limited to one type of participant. Here are some possible "ideal fits":

• Corporate Leaders: This program is designed for individuals stepping into new leadership roles, managing teams, or aspiring to become speakers and thought leaders in their field. It provides a space to strategically align one's work and professional identity with one's values and explore what inclusive, "herd-like" leadership looks like.

• Entrepreneurs: This program is also perfect for newer entrepreneurs who struggle to identify their niche and target clients effectively. It is ideal for those facing challenges maintaining consistent branding and those who aim to build purpose-driven and inspiring brands that help others succeed and create a sustainable and personally rewarding business.

• Stay-at-Home Moms: This program supports moms looking to reinvent their identities as they embark on a new chapter for themselves and their families. This might involve starting a new side hustle, developing a strategy to re-enter the workforce, or enhancing their identity separate from their caregiving roles.

• Creative Artists: This program could help focus the "creative mind," giving direction, structure, and accountability to those juggling many projects simultaneously. Sometimes, the most creative people have challenges following through and attending to sustainable growth in their craft. This leadership program can help!

Each experience in coaching with animals is unique. They reflect whatever the individual or group brings to the session, whether it be energetic, emotional, or physical. The burdens, stresses, or strong emotions you are feeling will be mirrored in how they interact with you or the group. To get the most out of an equine-assisted session, it is essential to remain curious, open to new ideas and reflections, and to maintain control over your emotional regulation for the safety of everyone involved. Equine-assisted sessions are always powerful, but what you take away from the experience is ultimately up to you and may take a few days to fully process.

Lead-HERD-ship Academy runs for 6 months (March 2025 - August 2025) and meets three times a month.

• Group Retreats and Masterminds - Monthly programs occur on Wednesdays in the morning (9 am - 2 pm) or midday (1 pm - 3 pm) at Equus Insight in Washoe Valley (Zoom in case of weather).

• Private Coaching - Sessions are scheduled separately to fit your calendar (1 hour a month) at Equus Insight or over Zoom.

• Special Events - Times and duration vary, but we will schedule them in advance during the week.

Commitment: Group sessions can’t be made up if you miss a class (unless we need to cancel due to weather or illness). However, private coaching can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. If you cancel due to illness or an emergency, we will work with you to find a time to reschedule missed sessions when possible. That said, it is essential that you try to attend all sessions, as we can’t record or document the experience; this is a live, in-person program. Private sessions can be with the herd (or over Zoom if scheduling is easier).

All group programs, including monthly Equine-Assisted Leadership Retreats and HERD Masterminds, will occur at Equus Insight Ranch (halfway between Reno and Carson City) or over Zoom if weather prohibits us from meeting on sight. There is a classroom space as well as an animal paddock. We might venture out into the neighboring open space for parts of our programs. The location is rustic but well-equipped with comfortable amenities. It is a perfect escape from home or office distractions to focus on your goals.

Private coaching with Hannah Waen, ACC, can be performed at Equus Insight if you want 1:1 time with the animals or over Zoom for greater focus and efficiency. You get to decide!

• No horsemanship skills are needed in advance. This program focuses on professional development; all activities occur on the ground (no riding).

• This program is accessible to most. We will gladly accommodate any special needs as best we can, but our “classroom” is outside, and we will work directly with live animals. Please reach out if you have concerns.

• Enrollment is application-based. Please schedule a brief chat with Hannah to determine if this is a good fit. Enrollment is first come, first served, and we will close our doors as soon as we reach capacity.

• Enrollment for this six-month program is $3,000, payable via debit, credit card, or check. If fewer than five people enroll, we will refund your deposit in full if we decide not to continue as planned. We will make that decision two weeks before class starts.

• Refunds will not be given unless we need to cancel our program for any reason (low enrollment, weather or natural disaster, illness, etc.) If you need to drop out in advance or miss a session, please be aware you are responsible for the full price of enrollment. Exceptional circumstances will be considered case-by-case, but refunds are not guaranteed. Caring for our herd of coaches costs a lot, so we need you to honor your commitments.
